OPERATING THEATRE FACILITY

Our operating theatre has been modified and upgraded to provide the safest and most aseptic environment possible. Our theatres are staffed and equipped to cope with emergency and elective cases alike. The Theatres cater for multiple high risk and day case surgeries provided by our top specialists at Medicare. These include neurosurgery, spinal surgery, general surgery ranging from incision and drainage to emergency appendicectomy/cholecystectomy, obstetrics and gynaecology- ranging from emergency caesareans, planned elective cases, removal of fibroids or cysts amongst others. Our theatres are also equipped and staffed to perform endoscopies and colonoscopies.   At Medicare, we strive to bring the best possible service to the Gambia and ensure all our equipment are internationally approved.
