Dr John N. Jabang

Consultant Neurosurgeon and Medical Director Dr Jabang graduated with a Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery following which he obtained admission to the University of Cheikh Antra Diop for the Neurosurgery Residency. In June 2015, he was employed as a consultant Neurosurgeon in Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital. In June 2016 he started a 2-year fellowship in Paediatric Neurosurgery Fellowship in Israel. He then returned to The Gambia and was soon promoted to a Senior Hospital Consultant in Neurosurgery September 2020 and Lecturer at the University of the Gambia. He has been a part of the Medicare family for the past 3 years and continue to innovate, educate and promote excellent healthcare to his peers and patients alike. He was recently appointed as the Medical Director of Medicare Clinic.   He is a man of God who enjoys reading, sharing his experiences and skillset as well remaining devoted family man
